Kalshi election market data now available on DoubleZero platform before midterm elections

Institutional traders and automated trading systems now have real-time access to Kalshi's political prediction markets through this integration as betting on elections sees continued expansion.

High-speed data distribution network DoubleZero has integrated real-time data feeds from Kalshi's political and election markets into its platform, a move that comes as trading activity on prediction markets intensifies in the run-up to November's US midterm elections.

Kalshi's election-related contracts have been incorporated into DoubleZero Edge, which previously featured data from the prediction platform's cryptocurrency perpetual futures and sports-related contracts, as revealed in an announcement made on Wednesday.

The data feed provides top-of-book information and trade data, in addition to aggregated order book data sourced from Kalshi's markets focused on elections. Kalshi's head of institutional, Andy Ross, explained that the purpose of this integration is to facilitate easier incorporation of political market data into institutional trading workflows as market sentiment evolves regarding election results.

Data compiled by the Anti-Corruption Data Collective shows that wagering on the 2026 US midterm elections had climbed to $133 million by Aug. 10, exceeding the $92.4 million that was bet throughout the complete 2024 congressional election cycle.

As of the current time of writing, a Kalshi market focused on the midterms that poses the question of which party will secure control of the US House had logged over $35 million in trading volume, with the probability of a Democratic victory standing at 84%.
