Canton Network Gains Access to Ethereum, Solana, and Robinhood Chain Through FalconX and Interstice Partnership
A new non-custodial cross-chain swap solution bridges Canton's institutional tokenized-asset ecosystem with liquidity and market activity on leading public blockchain networks.

A cross-chain swap engine developed by Interstice Digital in partnership with FalconX has been introduced, establishing connectivity between the Canton Network and Ethereum, Solana, as well as Robinhood Chain.
The announcement made on Tuesday reveals that this non-custodial infrastructure enables asset exchanges across these four blockchain networks while ensuring that Interstice maintains no control over user funds nor executes trades on their behalf.
Liquidity for the swap engine comes from FalconX, an institutional-focused digital asset prime brokerage platform. The engine's primary purpose is to bridge Canton's institutional marketplace with digital assets and market activity occurring on public blockchain networks, creating a pathway for users to move between tokenized instruments on Canton and the liquidity available on platforms like Ethereum and Solana.
Built specifically for institutional financial applications, Canton is a public blockchain featuring privacy controls and permissioning capabilities tailored for regulatory compliance and tokenized asset management. The network's participant roster includes prominent financial institutions like JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Everyrealm, Interstice counts among its backers a16z Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Galaxy and Brevan Howard. Details regarding which specific assets will be available at launch or transaction volume metrics for the swap engine were not made available by the company.
Canton expands institutional tokenization activity
This new integration arrives during a period of growing adoption of Canton by traditional financial institutions for tokenized asset initiatives and blockchain-enabled settlement processes.
Back in July, an onchain transaction involving US Treasury securities was completed through electronic trading platform Tradeweb, where Franklin Templeton moved a tokenized Treasury security to Virtu Financial in return for tokenized cash.
Price discovery and execution services were handled by Tradeweb, while Canton facilitated real-time settlement synchronization between both assets. According to Tradeweb, this marked the inaugural real-time transaction for buying and selling a tokenized US Treasury settled using USDCx, a Canton-native stablecoin backed by USDC, with additional participants including Societe Generale, Digital Asset and Blockdaemon.
Canton has also been utilized by Societe Generale for deploying its euro- and dollar-denominated stablecoin products for purposes including tokenized collateral management, repo financing operations and institutional settlement processes, while Visa has conducted trials for private stablecoin settlement utilizing the network.
Additional programs include a proof-of-concept project for Japanese government bond collateral involving financial institutions Mizuho and Nomura, as well as S&P Dow Jones Indices deploying its iBoxx US Treasuries Index onto the Canton platform.
