Uniswap Partnership Propels Robinhood Chain Toward $1B TVL Milestone: Standard Chartered Analysis
According to Standard Chartered, the integration of Uniswap on Robinhood's blockchain could address a critical obstacle facing emerging networks while boosting the rate of UNI token burns.

The collaboration between Robinhood and Uniswap is enabling the trading platform to quickly establish liquidity within its newly launched blockchain network, possibly eliminating a significant barrier to onboarding both users and capital, Standard Chartered has indicated.
Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick noted in a recent report that Robinhood Chain's total value locked (TVL) has expanded to approach the $1 billion threshold, representing what he characterized as the most rapid expansion by this metric among all blockchain networks. Nearly the entirety of liquidity requirements for Robinhood Chain are being fulfilled via Uniswap V2, V3 and V4, according to Kendrick's assessment.
This collaboration provides Robinhood with immediate access to well-established decentralized finance infrastructure while expanding its blockchain operations, which could enhance its capacity to draw in users without the necessity of creating liquidity pools independently from the ground up.
The collaboration is simultaneously creating a meaningful effect on the tokenomics surrounding Uniswap. Standard Chartered's analysis indicates that fees generated by the protocol through Robinhood-related activity have become the primary driver of UNI token burns.
Since the activation of a fee switch connected to Robinhood on July 27, the burn rate for UNI has approximately doubled, climbing to an annualized velocity of around $90 million. Based on UNI's present market price of approximately $3.50 per token, this burn rate would equate to 25 million UNI tokens, representing slightly more than 4% of the total circulating supply, being eliminated from circulation each year.
The official launch of Robinhood Chain occurred on July 1 with an emphasis on facilitating the migration of real-world assets to blockchain infrastructure. User adoption surged rapidly following the network's debut, with daily active users reaching 194,000 within the initial seven-day period.
Robinhood's crypto push expands into tokenization and prediction markets
The development of Robinhood Chain represents one component of the brokerage firm's wider strategic expansion beyond its core equity trading operations, as the company ventures deeper into cryptocurrency services, prediction markets and asset tokenization. This strategic direction has captured the interest of Wall Street observers, with Bernstein analysts elevating their valuation forecast for Robinhood (HOOD) stock to $160 per share and highlighting tokenization initiatives and prediction market offerings as pivotal catalysts for future growth.
This strategic expansion has unfolded alongside divergent performance trends within Robinhood's cryptocurrency division. While the company delivered record-breaking revenue and earnings results during the second quarter, it simultaneously experienced declines in both crypto trading volumes and cryptocurrency-related revenue streams.
