Tron Launches $200M At-the-Market Equity Program to Expand TRX Token Holdings

The treasury-focused company, listed on Nasdaq, currently maintains approximately $237 million worth of TRX tokens and seeks to secure extra funding for continued token acquisitions beyond its existing daily buying strategy.

The Nasdaq-listed company Tron (TRON) has submitted documentation for a fresh at-the-market (ATM) equity offering that provides authorization to issue as much as $200 million in common stock, with proceeds earmarked for expanding its Tron (TRX) token reserves.

Under the arrangement, Tron gains the ability to intermittently issue shares of its common stock valued at a par of $0.0001 via Clear Street, which serves in an agency capacity and collects commissions reaching as high as 3% of total sales proceeds, based on documents submitted Wednesday to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The firm's current TRX buying initiative, which was unveiled in February, established a plan to acquire roughly $50,000 in TRX tokens daily over a consecutive 360-day period. Tron's holdings now include 718.9 million TRX tokens, presently valued at approximately $237 million, following the organization's most recent purchase of 149,369 TRX tokens at a mean price of $0.3347 on Thursday.
