Arcus Brings ERC-20 Tokenized Perpetual Positions to Robinhood Chain

Arcus has unveiled transferable ERC-20 tokens representing perpetual futures positions and enables users to utilize tokenized equities as collateral for leveraged trading while maintaining ownership of their assets.

The decentralized exchange known as Arcus, developed by the creators of dYdX, has rolled out a new protocol on Robinhood Chain that transforms perpetual futures positions into transferable ERC-20 tokens while enabling tokenized equities to serve as collateral for leveraged trading activities.

According to a Tuesday press release provided to Cointelegraph, the platform's debut features offerings like pBTC3x and pHOOD3x, which deliver 3x exposure to Bitcoin and the HOOD stock token from Robinhood, respectively.

The DEX's multi collateral functionality currently accommodates SPY, QQQ and MAG7 Stock Tokens, with each offering a 50% loan-to-value ratio, enabling traders to leverage tokenized equities as backing for perpetual positions.

Traditional markets have spent decades making sophisticated investment strategies easier to access through products like leveraged ETFs. We believe the next step is making those strategies native to blockchain infrastructure.

According to Arcus, the platform has generated more than $250 million in trading volume since its deployment on Robinhood Chain, with average daily volume surpassing $33 million.

Since its July 1 launch, Robinhood Chain has accumulated $596 million in total value locked, placing it among the top 15 chains by DeFi TVL, based on data from DeFiLlama.
