US Bitcoin ETFs See $2.4B Surge in Strongest Weekly Performance Since Last October

The pace of daily capital inflows decelerated as Bitcoin's price retreated from levels exceeding $87,100, though Ether and XRP exchange-traded funds similarly received new investment throughout the week.

Exchange-traded funds tracking spot Bitcoin in the United States experienced their most robust week of capital inflows during the current year, capturing $2.39 billion following Friday's additional contribution of $134.5 million.

This weekly figure represents the highest level observed since the week concluding on Oct. 10, 2025, during which net inflows reached $2.71 billion, based on data from SoSoValue. The performance also exceeded the earlier 2026 peak of $1.92 billion that was established during August.

By Friday, the cumulative year-to-date flows for these investment vehicles had climbed to approximately $926 million, marking a significant turnaround from the year-to-date shortfall that had reached around $5.55 billion during the early part of July.

The daily rate of net inflows experienced a deceleration following Monday's peak of nearly $1 billion, coinciding with Bitcoin's decline from price levels above $87,100. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at approximately $83,116, reflecting a 1.6% decrease during the preceding 24 hours while maintaining a 1.7% gain across the previous seven-day period, based on CoinGecko data.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index registered a reading of 74, rising from the previous week's level of 70 while remaining within the "Greed" zone, as reported by Alternative.me.

Spot Ether exchange-traded funds in the United States drew approximately $690 million in net inflows throughout the week, reversing around $140 million in outflows recorded during the prior week, whereas spot XRP ETFs accumulated roughly $76 million, based on SoSoValue data.
