Brevan Howard partners with Ripple Prime for comprehensive brokerage solutions

Following its contribution to Ripple's $500 million capital raise in 2025, the investment manager overseeing $35 billion in assets is deepening its partnership with the blockchain firm.

Brevan Howard, an international investment manager overseeing approximately $35 billion in assets, will receive multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services through Ripple Prime for its managed funds.

According to a Tuesday announcement, the enhanced partnership will give Brevan Howard access to Ripple Prime's comprehensive service offerings spanning both digital asset and traditional markets.

The partnership represents a deepening of ties between the two organizations. In 2025, funds associated with Brevan Howard took part in a $500 million funding round for Ripple that established the company's valuation at $40 billion.

As digital and traditional markets become more interconnected, the need for institutional-quality digital asset infrastructure that enables a seamless experience for investors is only growing.

Brevan Howard's client base spans the globe and includes sovereign wealth funds, corporate and public pension plans, foundations and endowments.

This agreement arrives during a period of growth for Ripple's prime brokerage operations. Ripple Prime secured $275 million in August through a senior note offering designed to finance its expansion into prime brokerage, financing and multi-asset clearing capabilities. The business was established by Ripple following its acquisition of Hidden Road, a prime broker, for approximately $1.25 billion in 2025.
