Stablecoin Analytics Now Available on Bloomberg Terminal Platform

Through its partnership with Allium, Bloomberg now provides Terminal subscribers with updated hourly information tracking stablecoin supply metrics, issuance patterns, transfer activities and network-wide transactions across various blockchain infrastructures.

The Bloomberg Terminal has introduced a new stablecoin analytics dashboard, providing finance industry professionals with comprehensive access to blockchain-based data that monitors stablecoin supply levels, token issuance patterns and overall transaction volumes.

According to an announcement released on Wednesday by Bloomberg, the analytics dashboard utilizes technology from Allium, a blockchain data platform, and focuses on stablecoins that exceed $100 million in total circulation, which collectively account for more than 98% of the entire market.

Terminal subscribers have the ability to analyze and compare different stablecoins based on multiple metrics including total supply, minting activity, burn events, transfer volumes and velocity measurements, while also examining data segmented by specific blockchain networks and various peg types, which encompass both fiat currencies and physical commodities.

All Bloomberg Terminal subscribers can access the new dashboard by entering RWAS <GO>, which integrates the blockchain-based data seamlessly with Bloomberg's comprehensive suite of existing financial tools covering fixed-income securities, foreign exchange markets and money-market instruments.

Financial institutions including banks, asset management firms and various other market professionals rely heavily on the Terminal for accessing real-time market information, breaking news coverage, sophisticated analytics capabilities, trading functionalities and communication services. Since 2014, Bloomberg has featured Bitcoin price data on its platform and presently delivers comprehensive pricing information, reference datasets, unique identifiers and benchmark metrics covering 50 cryptocurrencies.

This development arrives at a time when the total stablecoin market capitalization has climbed beyond $306 billion, based on information from DeFiLlama data, with Tether's USDT representing approximately 60% of the overall market share.
