Solana-based Fomo surpasses Pump.fun in single-day revenue performance

On Friday, the social trading platform Fomo outperformed the memecoin launchpad Pump.fun in terms of daily revenue generation.
Data from DefiLlama shows that Fomo brought in $1.76 million in revenue on Friday, while Pump.fun recorded $1.1 million during the same period.
However, when examining longer timeframes, Pump.fun maintains its dominance. The memecoin launchpad accumulated over $57 million in revenue throughout the past 30 days, while Fomo generated $17.6 million during the same period.
The Fomo platform merges cryptocurrency trading functionality with social networking features that mirror a social media timeline. Users can observe and monitor the trading activity of other platform participants.
The social trading application secured a $75 million Series B funding round in June, with Index Ventures serving as the lead investor, establishing Fomo's valuation at $550 million.
According to the company, over 68,000 users completed their initial cryptocurrency transaction on the platform through Apple Pay, representing approximately $25 million in total transaction volume.
Beyond spot trading, Fomo has diversified its product portfolio this year. The platform introduced perpetual futures contracts on June 11, utilizing Hyperliquid's infrastructure to serve international users outside the United States.
On June 2, the company announced it had distributed over $2 million in referral fees to its user base.
