Why RWA retail isn't here yet
Tokenized real-world assets represent a rapidly expanding market, yet for the majority of potential investors, grasping what they're purchasing remains anything but straightforward. The challenge isn't about gaining access, it's about achieving comprehension.
These assets exist scattered across numerous blockchains and platforms, compelling users to manually traverse different ecosystems just to begin comparing their options. Two separate tokens might represent an identical underlying asset, like gold, yet possess entirely distinct structures, transparency standards, and risk characteristics. One token could feature audited reserve backing with transparent redemption processes; the other might provide nothing beyond a basic whitepaper. For typical users, such distinctions remain hidden, and currently no straightforward method exists to distinguish between them.
Realmint
Realmint launches today specifically to address this problem. With support from Injective Foundation and participation in the Cointelegraph Accelerator program, this new platform brings together more than 50 tokenized commodities spanning multiple chains including Ethereum, Polygon, Base, and others, enabling users to explore, comprehend and evaluate RWAs through one unified interface. Additional asset classes including stocks, bonds, and more are currently being prepared and will roll out on a weekly basis.
Realmint score
Rather than simply displaying unprocessed data, the platform assesses every asset using six key dimensions: Enforceability, Backing, Control, Exit, Liquidity, and Social. This produces a comprehensive score ranging from 0 to 100, enabling users to evaluate assets quickly without requiring them to analyze whitepapers, conduct extensive due diligence, or manually investigate on-chain data.
One-click execution
Beginning in week 2, Realmint will incorporate execution capabilities straight into this same workflow. Users will gain the ability to discover assets, evaluate them side by side, and purchase RWAs across various chains beginning from USDC on Injective, all within a single gasless transaction. Wallet configuration friction is eliminated as well: Realmint leverages Privy to enable users to establish self-custodial wallets within seconds, all without exiting the platform.
Realmint rewards
An incentive system is coming soon, and participation on the platform during its early stages will be significant. Actions taken prior to June will be counted. Platform participants' early interactions with RWAs are currently being monitored and recorded.
