Hyperion DeFi commits 500K HYPE tokens to back Hyperliquid HIP-3 trading markets
Through this partnership, Hyperion secures equity ownership in Skew alongside revenue-sharing rights from listing services while broadening the use cases for its HYPE treasury holdings.

Publicly-traded Hyperion DeFi, which is listed on Nasdaq, announced it has reached a partnership agreement with Skew Technologies that will see the deployment of 500,000 Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens designated for supporting institutional perpetual futures trading markets through Hyperliquid's HIP-3 permissionless listing infrastructure.
The terms of the partnership arrangement grant Hyperion both an ownership position in Skew's equity and participation in revenue generated through the platform's listing services, as detailed in a press release issued on Wednesday.
According to both organizations, the platform service has been structured specifically to enable institutional market participants to create and deploy customized perpetual futures trading markets utilizing Hyperliquid's underlying technology infrastructure.
As we assessed opportunities in HIP-3, we continued to receive demand from various teams globally seeking to launch and distribute new markets using Hyperliquid's infrastructure

Hyperliquid operates as a layer-1 blockchain platform with a primary concentration on facilitating perpetual futures trading operations. The platform's HIP-3 framework enables developers to deploy customized perpetual market offerings by committing HYPE tokens as bonded collateral, thereby establishing additional utility applications for the token that extend beyond traditional staking mechanisms.
