Binance deepens traditional finance integration with US stock and ETF options for over 1,000 securities
Through a single Binance account, qualified users outside the United States gain access to physically settled options covering more than 1,000 US equities and exchange-traded funds as the platform extends its traditional finance capabilities.

In a significant move to deepen its traditional finance footprint, Binance has rolled out options trading capabilities covering more than 1,000 US equities and exchange-traded funds, making these instruments available to qualified users located outside United States borders.
The newly launched options products will be delivered via Nest Trading, Binance's broker-dealer entity regulated in Abu Dhabi, while the actual execution, clearing, settlement and custody operations will be handled by Alpaca Securities, a US-registered firm that will process routed orders.
This new offering represents an evolution of Binance's current equities platform, which already provides access to more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs, and further strengthens an expanding portfolio of traditional financial instruments made available to the platform's user base.
In contrast to equity-linked perpetual futures products, these options contracts are physically settled, which means that users who choose to exercise their positions will actually receive or be required to deliver the underlying stock shares.
Binance reports that this strategic expansion reflects accelerating demand for traditional financial products on its platform, evidenced by TradFi perpetual futures volume climbing to approximately $433 billion in August, representing roughly 15 times the volume recorded in January.
Tokenized stock market surges as exchanges expand offerings
The onchain stock market has experienced remarkable growth over the past year as cryptocurrency exchanges and traditional brokerage firms have increasingly moved into the tokenized equities space.
The distributed value of tokenized stocks currently stands at approximately $2.6 billion, a substantial increase from the roughly $346 million recorded during the same period last year, based on data from RWA.xyz. Transfer volume on a monthly basis has also experienced a 93% increase over the past 30 days, reaching $25.1 billion, while the total number of holders has jumped 157% to approach nearly 2.5 million.
In a development last week, Coinbase introduced its B20 tokenized equities product to Base, providing qualified non-US users with round-the-clock, 24/7 access to blockchain-based versions of major stocks such as Apple, Nvidia, Meta and Alphabet. These tokenized assets can additionally be incorporated into decentralized finance protocols for various applications including trading and collateralized borrowing activities.
Meanwhile, Kraken expanded its equities presence more aggressively in August, rolling out access to more than 7,000 US-listed stocks for qualified European customers and positioning these offerings alongside its expanding range of tokenized xStocks products.
Earlier in July, Robinhood, the US-based online brokerage platform, unveiled Robinhood Chain together with a next-generation series of Stock Tokens made available to eligible users across more than 120 countries worldwide.
