Strive reaches 25,000 BTC milestone with latest 469 Bitcoin acquisition

The company's most recent Bitcoin acquisition was entirely financed through its SATA preferred stock offering as Strive maintains its aggressive positioning among corporate Bitcoin treasury holders.

Asset manager Strive, now ranked among the top five Bitcoin treasury companies globally, has acquired an additional 469 Bitcoin valued at approximately $36.6 million during last week's trading, elevating its total cryptocurrency reserves to 25,000 BTC.

Based on a filing submitted Monday to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the company completed its Bitcoin acquisition during the four-day window from Sept. 8 through Sept. 11, paying an average cost of $77,954 per BTC when accounting for all associated fees and expenses.

The world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization was most recently changing hands at $78,823, based on pricing information from Coingecko data.

Matt Cole, Strive's CEO, confirmed that the acquisition was completely financed using capital raised from selling SATA, the firm's perpetual preferred stock instrument, which has now exceeded $1 billion in total notional value currently outstanding. The regulatory filing indicates that SATA shares outstanding grew by 402,541 during the identical timeframe to approximately 10.4 million shares.

By Sept. 11, Strive additionally maintained $204.2 million in cash and cash equivalents along with 505,000 shares of Strategy's STRC preferred stock, carrying an estimated value of roughly $49.8 million.

The company secured its position as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder in late August, after an acquisition of 1,800 BTC enabled it to surpass crypto exchange Bullish. Strive was originally co-founded in 2022 by Vivek Ramaswamy, who is currently campaigning as the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Ohio, and transitioned into a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company in September 2025 after completing its merger with Asset Entities.

Strive valuation climbs alongside Bitcoin accumulation

Shares of Strive trading on the Nasdaq exchange increased by more than 7% during Monday's session to approximately $29, continuing a sustained rally that has resulted in the stock price more than doubling throughout the previous month, based on data from Yahoo Finance.

The ongoing rally had already elevated Strive's market capitalization beyond that of Metaplanet during last week's trading, notwithstanding the fact that the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company maintains substantially larger Bitcoin reserves. By Monday's close, Strive commanded a market capitalization of roughly $2.5 billion, in comparison to $1.9 billion for Metaplanet.

The company's stock rally has additionally driven its share price beyond the $27 exercise price attached to warrants scheduled to expire in mid-October. Should warrant holders choose to exercise their positions, they would purchase Strive shares at the $27 per share price point, which could potentially deliver more than $700 million in fresh capital to the company, based on analysis from BitcoinTreasuries.net.

Earlier this month, Cole stated that achieving the position of second-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder before the end of the year was "not out of the realm of possibility" for Strive, although he clarified that such an outcome was not reflected in his base case scenario.
