RedStone Receives 15.8M Canton Coin Grant from Canton Foundation for Privacy-Focused Pricing Framework
Canton institutions will gain access to RedStone's upcoming pricing solution that enables collective market price usage while maintaining confidentiality of transaction details from data suppliers.

Nearly 15.8 million Canton Coin have been allocated by the Canton Foundation to support RedStone's development of an open-source pricing solution designed for institutional users, with the grant valued at approximately $1.55 million based on current market rates.
According to Coingecko data, the CC token is currently trading at approximately $0.0979, boasting a total market capitalization of $3.91 billion, while daily trading volume over the last 24 hours reached $23.23 million.
According to Thursday's announcement that was provided to Cointelegraph, the Canton Access and Privacy Standard (CAPS) will enable financial institutions to leverage a common market price for transaction valuations while keeping their actual settlement figures confidential from the data providers supplying the pricing information.
By supporting open-source initiatives like CAPS, the Foundation is helping establish a shared privacy and licensing framework that enables multiple data providers to serve the network.

The standard will enable the blockchain oracle provider to distribute a benchmark price that institutions can utilize for computing the value of their transactions.
The initial phase of development will encompass pricing mechanisms for tokenized investment funds, assets from private markets, and structured financial products. Both the pricing calculation tools and the licensing module will be made available under the Apache 2.0 open-source license, providing flexibility for additional providers to customize and implement them.
According to the company, RedStone began delivering pricing data on the Canton platform in December 2025 and maintains partnerships with various ecosystem members, including Temple Digital Group.
In a blog post published in May, Canton Network disclosed that it had successfully onboarded over 600 financial institutions, with notable participants such as Goldman Sachs, DTCC, BNY and Franklin Templeton, while managing approximately $9 trillion in transaction volume on a monthly basis.
