US Bitcoin ETFs approach $1 billion milestone with strongest 2026 inflows
United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $1 billion in inflows during Monday's trading session, representing the highest single-day influx since October 2025, coinciding with Bitcoin's surge past the $87,000 threshold.
United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) pulled in close to $1 billion through net inflows during Monday's session, representing their most substantial daily influx for 2026.
The investment vehicles registered $998.9 million in daily net inflows, eclipsing the prior 2026 peak of $844 million recorded on Jan. 14, based on data from SoSoValue.
The inflows seen on Monday additionally represented the most significant single-day intake since Oct. 6, 2025, a date when US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in excess of $1.2 billion. Notwithstanding this recent surge, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced approximately $464 million in net outflows through 2026 year-to-date.
The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) from BlackRock spearheaded Monday's influx with $381 million, trailed by the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) which secured $289 million and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) which garnered approximately $239 million, per Farside Investors data.
Bitcoin was changing hands at $85,430 at the time of publication, posting gains of 4.7% over 24 hours and 12.3% over the past month. The cryptocurrency momentarily surged beyond $87,200 during Monday's session, based on CoinGecko data. Julio Moreno from CryptoQuant noted on Monday that Bitcoin had climbed above its 365-day moving average, characterizing this development as the ultimate signal required to validate a new bull market.
US spot Ether ETFs drew in approximately $270 million during Monday's trading, marking their most substantial daily inflow for 2026. US spot XRP ETFs showed no net flows during the same day, maintaining cumulative net inflows at roughly $1.71 billion.
