Ether ETFs Record Highest Daily Inflow Since October While Bitcoin Funds Attract $608M

Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States attracted $608.3 million on Thursday, pushing weekly inflows beyond $1.6 billion, as Ether ETFs recorded their biggest single-day intake since October.

Exchange-traded funds tracking spot Bitcoin in the United States recorded net inflows of $608.3 million on Thursday, pushing weekly gains past the $1.6 billion threshold, as spot Ether ETFs registered their most significant single-day inflow since October.

Thursday's performance marked the fourth consecutive session of positive flows for the Bitcoin funds, following intakes of $297.6 million on Monday, $189.3 million on Tuesday, and $517.2 million on Wednesday, according to data from SoSoValue.

Through Thursday, net inflows for August hit $2.07 billion, eclipsing the prior 2026 monthly record of $1.97 billion set in April, with seven additional trading sessions left in the month. The cumulative total for net inflows reached $53.4 billion.

These capital inflows coincided with an ongoing cryptocurrency market surge, with Bitcoin trading at $75,133 as of Friday morning at the time of publication, representing a 7.9% increase over the preceding 24-hour period, based on CoinGecko data. Ether rose 4.6% to approximately $2,357.

Thursday brought $220.8 million in net inflows to spot Ether ETFs, marking their strongest daily performance across 203 trading sessions that spanned 296 calendar days. The last time these funds recorded greater daily inflows was Oct. 28, 2025, when they captured approximately $246 million.

Over the course of four trading sessions this week, the funds have accumulated roughly $512.2 million, bringing August net inflows to approximately $754.9 million. The total value of net assets has climbed to $13.58 billion.
