In a Saturday post on Truth Social, Trump outlined that this new initiative would oversee the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence industry while avoiding the implementation of regulations that might hinder innovation, as reported by Newsweek and various other news outlets.
"For this purpose, I am forming the AI Force, much like I did Space Force, which has been a tremendous SUCCESS, in my First Term," the president wrote. "To that end, I will be announcing, in the near future, the AI 'Czar' — Only High I.Q. individuals need apply!"
The president did not clarify whether the AI Force would operate as a military command structure, function as a civilian agency, or be established as a governmental department, as the New York Times pointed out, further noting that White House officials failed to provide a response to an email requesting additional clarification.

Anthropic announced on Sunday that it had selected Accenture as its inaugural embedded evaluator to assist in controlling the speed of AI development, implementing the initial step detailed in Amodei's proposal, as Cointelegraph reported.
Both OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk expressed favorable reactions to Amodei's proposal, though Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang disagreed, maintaining the position that implementing such regulation was unnecessary.
