Crypto ETF Investments in US Slow Down Following Record $3.3B Week, Positive Trends Persist

Investment flows into US spot cryptocurrency ETFs dropped approximately 80% compared to Friday's figures, with Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP products collectively drawing $64.8 million on Monday.

American spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund (ETF) products drew approximately $64.8 million as investment flows continued their cooling trend on Monday, representing a decrease of roughly 80% compared to Friday's performance following a robust week of investor activity.

According to data from SoSoValue, US spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETF products commanded Monday's inflows with $31.07 million, while Ether (ETH) ETFs followed with $17.1 million. Funds tracking Solana (SOL) registered $12.7 million in inflows, with XRP (XRP) ETF products capturing $3.96 million.

The same four investment categories collectively attracted approximately $330.8 million during Friday's trading session. Bitcoin-focused funds captured $134.47, whereas Ether products received $86.95 million, Solana attracted $86.7 million and XRP garnered $22.65 million.

The widespread cooling trend observed across US spot cryptocurrency ETF products came after a week characterized by robust investor appetite, during which the identical four ETF categories pulled in more than $3.3 billion in combined inflows. Bitcoin ETF products dominated the previous week's investment flows with $2.39 billion, with Ether following at $690 million, Solana capturing $188 million and XRP securing $75.6 million. Zcash ETF products contributed approximately $35 million during last week before experiencing an $8.1 million outflow on Monday.

Positive investment streaks persist for crypto ETFs despite deceleration

Although Monday's investment volumes were considerably smaller in comparison, every one of the four categories maintained positive territory and extended their ongoing inflow streaks.

Monday's trading session pushed Bitcoin ETF products' net inflow streak to eight consecutive trading days. The investment vehicles have captured approximately $3 billion throughout this period, which includes a 2026 peak of nearly $1 billion recorded on Sept. 21.

Ether ETF products registered their seventh consecutive trading session with positive inflows. Data from Farside indicates that BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust represented $15.4 million of Monday's $17.1 million aggregate total, with 21Shares' TETH contributing an additional $1.7 million.

Solana ETF products pushed their net inflow streak to seven straight trading sessions during Monday's activity, with Bitwise's BSOL representing the majority of the day's investment flows. XRP ETF products recorded a fifth consecutive positive trading session, with Canary Capital's XRPC capturing the complete $3.96 million category inflow.
