Securitize partners with Neuberger for tokenized high-yield fund debut spanning multiple blockchains

A new tokenized high-yield fixed-income fund from Neuberger and Securitize goes live on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche and Sui networks, broadening institutional access to blockchain-based investment vehicles.

Investment management firm Neuberger has unveiled its inaugural tokenized fixed-income offering in collaboration with Securitize, bringing an actively managed high-yield investment vehicle to market across four distinct blockchain platforms: Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Sui (SUI).

Known as the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC), the product will focus its investments predominantly on high-yield bonds, while also gaining exposure to collateralized loan obligations and leveraged loans, as detailed in a Tuesday announcement.

The fund's introduction arrives at a time when investors are seeking higher returns in an environment characterized by intense competition for both corporate and government financing.

The previous market regime rewarded investors for assuming that capital would remain cheap and plentiful. The emerging regime may reward investors for recognising that capital has a price again.

Access to the new fund will be limited to qualified investors, with Securitize delivering the technological infrastructure necessary to issue and administer tokenized shares across all four blockchain platforms.

This marks the first occasion where Neuberger will act as subadvisor to a tokenized fund vehicle. The company's fixed-income division oversees more than $230 billion in assets, while Neuberger's total assets under management stand at approximately $613 billion.

According to data from RWA.xyz, Securitize currently has about $4.96 billion in distributed asset value spanning 26 tokenized real-world assets. The platform's product lineup features BlackRock's $2.7 billion BUIDL fund, a $355 million tokenized AAA CLO fund and a $95 million Apollo diversified credit fund.

Securitize's stock price climbed approximately 5% during Tuesday's morning trading session, bringing the firm's market capitalization to roughly $838 million. However, despite this upward movement, the stock continues to trade more than 50% below the levels it achieved in the period immediately following its public debut in July.
