BTC Exchange-Traded Funds Attract $347M During Price Volatility Below $84K

Wednesday witnessed spot Bitcoin ETF inflows of $347 million in the United States as BTC price dropped under $84,000, with the five-day period accumulating $2.65 billion in total inflows.

Exchange-traded funds tracking Bitcoin in the United States pulled in approximately $347 million in net inflows during Wednesday's trading session, continuing a positive momentum that has now lasted five consecutive trading days, despite Bitcoin's price declining beneath the $84,000 threshold after a brief period of trading above the $87,000 mark.

Data from SoSoValue indicates that these investment vehicles have accumulated approximately $2.65 billion across the five sessions concluding on Wednesday. The Wednesday figure represented a decrease compared to the $714.75 million recorded on Tuesday and the 2026 peak of $998.95 million witnessed on Monday.

September has seen these funds capture $2.37 billion in inflows to date, successfully counterbalancing previous outflows and pushing the year-to-date total inflows to approximately $596 million.

According to data from Farside Investors, Wednesday's inflow activity was dominated by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which holds the position as the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF measured by assets, recording $166 million in inflows, with Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) coming in second place with $143 million.

Meanwhile, US spot Ether ETFs registered approximately $105 million in inflows on Wednesday, representing their fourth straight day of positive net inflows and elevating total cumulative inflows to $13.8 billion. Spot XRP ETFs contributed an additional $18 million, pushing their cumulative inflows to roughly $1.8 billion.

At the time of publication, Bitcoin was changing hands at $83,743, reflecting a 2.7% decline over the previous 24 hours while demonstrating a 9.5% gain over the seven-day period, based on data from CoinGecko.
