BNB Chain achieves milestone with over $1B in tokenized equities and ETFs amid $3.7B industry expansion

The value of tokenized equities and exchange-traded funds on BNB Chain hit $1.1 billion while the overall market expanded to $3.7 billion, giving the blockchain platform approximately 30% market dominance.

BNB Chain has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first blockchain network to surpass the $1 billion threshold in tokenized equities and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to data from Token Terminal, the total market capitalization of tokenized equities and ETFs experienced an approximately 17% increase, climbing from $2.87 billion in August to $3.35 billion by September.

At the time of writing, BNB Chain's share of the tokenized stocks and ETFs sector reached $1.1 billion in market capitalization, representing approximately 30% of the total $3.7 billion market. Ethereum followed in second place with $828 million, capturing 22% of the market, while Solana secured third position with $738 million, holding a 20% market share.

According to a Tuesday report from Binance Research, BNB Chain also dominated in terms of user adoption, with 1.8 million addresses holding tokenized equities, which represents 45% of all holders across blockchain networks. The platform supports various offerings, including Binance bStocks and tokenized securities from Ondo Global Markets.

The tokenized stocks and ETFs sector has experienced remarkable growth, expanding more than fivefold from its January valuation of $719 million. At that time, based on Token Terminal data, Ethereum commanded approximately 48% of the market share, Solana held 31%, and BNB Chain represented merely 13% of the total market.
